This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed on mehmetsari.ai ("the site"). The site is operated by Mehmet Sarı for the purpose of publishing personal blog and technology content.

  • Comment data: Name and comment text you provide, stored in association with the page.
  • Newsletter subscription: Only the email address you voluntarily share; used solely for content notifications.
  • Browser local storage: Theme preference, font size, reading history, bookmarks — all stored only on your device and never sent to us.

  • Spam and abuse prevention.
  • Improving content quality through anonymous traffic analysis.
  • Notifying newsletter subscribers about new content.

4. Third-Party Services

The site uses the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection (CAPTCHA). Collects no personal data.
  • Cloudflare CDN — content delivery and DNS.
  • Bluesky (AT Protocol) — for automatically sharing new content on our Bluesky account.
  • LinkedIn — for sharing new content on our LinkedIn company page (when authorized).

Each service's own privacy policy applies.

5. Cookies

The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Only functional browser local storage (theme, language, preferences) is used, and this data never leaves your device.

6. Data Retention

  • Comments are retained indefinitely; removal can be requested at any time.
  • Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
  • IP hashes are deleted within 30 days.
  • Anonymous traffic data is retained for 365 days.

7. Your Rights (KVKK / GDPR)

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Request information about data processed about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter (link at the bottom of every newsletter email).
  • Request removal of your comment.
